The passage of time is a subject that interests me a lot and that I explore in several works that I've been doing over time. The "Did" series addresses the issue of the passage of time and the effect it has on our memory - the first was drawn shortly after returning from a trip to Morocco and the second, which reproduces exactly the same drawings, was drawn intentionally a few months later. But what are these drawings?
FEZ I. There are 9 works that result from the superposition of two distinct approaches: the backgrounds, if we put all the works in a certain order, form an imaginary aerial view of the Medina of Fez and, on top of it, figurative drawings were incorporated, the graphic allegories of the feelings experienced on the trip to Morocco.
FEZ II. These 10 works re-interpret the drawings from the first series, but here the narrative appears in a more refined approach, in line with the feeling that remained, already with some distance after the trip to Morocco.
Included in this series is also an object-drawing and a book with drawings and collages that I haven't mapped here on the site.
